How do I download Instrument I/O Assistent for Labview 8.0 ?

Hi Chris_R,

I need the driver CD too, but unfortunately I can`t find it on the ftp site. Can you give me the path or the name of the driver CD?

Thanks a lot

Hi capunze!

I have placed the driver December 2005 Driver CD on the ftp site again in the folder called "## Driver CD Dec 05 ##.  Click here to go to the outgoing folder of our ftp site to find this driver folder.  I just now uploaded it and since it is a large file, may take up to hour to show up.  If it isn't there right now, try checking back later today.  Let me know if you have any trouble!

Have a great day!

Hi Chris_R.,

I have the same problem with the Instrument I/O Assistant ("Measurement & Automation Explorer or the I/O Assistant is not installed correctly.  Please install these from the Labview Driver CD.")
I use LabView 8.0 German Student Edition (no driver-cd)
I already installed
the NI-488.2 (2.4) and the NI-VISA (3.6) drivers.
I reinstalled LabView 8.0.
But it doesn't help.

I've read about the solution with a new driver-cd and I wanted to get them
, but unfortunately I can`t find it.
Chris, could you please reput the file at the ftp space, if the driver-cd helps solving my problem.

Thanks a lot

Hi ThomasG,

I just posted it back to the ftp site with the same folder name, ## Driver CD Dec 05 ##.  Go to the ftp site outgoing folder to find it.

Let me know if you have any trouble!

Hi, I am sorry to trouble you with this, but I also cannot find the #Driver CD Dec 05 ## on the ftp site. I get the same same error message about the Instrument I/O Assistant is not installed correctly. Thanks for the help, Fred.

Hi fredh,

No problem.  I have actually updated the driver CD to the newest one.  The folder is now called "## Driver CD May 06 ##".  I copied the .zip in that folder, so it should be there now.  Let me know if you have any trouble getting it!  Have a great day!

Hi Chris. I found the ##DriverCDMay06## folder on the outgoing ftp site last weekend, but my laptop was causing me problems during the download so I had to quit. Do you think you can post it again? I will give it another shot on Saturday. Thanks a million, Fred.
