How can I simultaneously acquire and display an image on the front panel using a PCI-1408

I have to acquire and display an image directely in the front panel of a *.vi using a PCI-1408. i have to know all informmations about this image because I want to create a calibration system.

Does the VI you referenced actually put the image onto the front panel or does it create its own window ?

Using IMAQ Vision the fastest way to show images is to use "IMAQ Vision Display" - it uses its own window. If you want to embed your image in the front panel of your main VI you can use the intensity graph for example - that´s much slower because of array transformations, but you can have a look at:
