How can I scroll horizontally?

It looks like it has been since 2003 since this was asked... I have LabView 2012, Service Pack 1, and am using Windows 7.

I cannot figure out what the shortcut to scroll horizontally is - I have tried every combination of Alt, control, shift, etc with the scroll wheel on the mouse and cannot figure it out.

Advice would be greatly appreciated!

Put your mouse over the horizontal scroll bar and you can then use the mouse wheel to scroll horizontally.

Edit:Here are a couple of posts in the Idea Exchange on the issue.

There is no shortcut, but if you place the cursor over the horizontal scroll bar, the wheel will scroll horizontally.

If you're using the auto-tool, you can generally press Ctrl+Shift to change the tool to the panning tool, which you can then use to move around the diagram (Ctrl changes the auto-tool to the next-most-common option and adding Shift changes it to the third, which I think is always pan).

There's an idea in the idea exchange to add a keyboard modifier or a better pan option and its chances will increase if you go and vote for it. (edit - yeah, what he said ^ )

I'll be honest, I did NOT expect this to be a "feature request" rather than a "how to" request.

The "how to" is to put your mouse over the horizontal scrollbar.  The "feature request" is if you want something different.

It boggles the mind how this isn't a feature yet, and how "experts" recommend using a scroll bar.
