Hide the drop-down menu for the pict ring

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I am working on a project where I use picture ring for each finger (see picture), containing finger with skin tone, red colored and green colored. I want it to work as a tri-state button, so when I for example press the thumb it'll turn green (if it's correct) or red (if it's wrong).

When I'm clicking on the finger the drop-down menu is showing. How can I remove the menu, or disable it somehow?hand_picture Ring.png

You can make it an indicator and look for the "Mouse Down" event.

Make the pict ring an indicator then over-aly it with a transparent boolean. When the boolean is clicked figure out whcih pict ring to show and update the pict ring.

So you mean that I can create an indicator for the drop-down menu? I couldn't find out how to do that, what should I do?

Go to the block diagram, right click your pict ring control, click change to indicator.

What about using a radio button control?  Replace the default bulls-eye buttons with square flat buttons from the classic palette and put the thumb images on the buttons.
