Guess how many world-wide LabVIEW users exist?

I'm curious to find out approximately how many LabVIEW users exist. Does anyone have a guess? Is the number in the millions?

I imagine that some NI salespeople out there must know how many LV6 licenses have been sold. Any hints?

less than 1/2 of 1% are scientist/engineers.

Less than 0.1% use LV.

world pop is about 6,000,000,000,000.

so...

about 300,000.

With those numbers (ignoring the "less than" statements) I get 30,000,000.

Anyway, the minimum now is 5.

While I am out checking my math, my guess will be somewhere between 300,000 and 30,000,000.

That makes the entusists an even "rare-er" animal.

I don't know about the rest of the numbers, but seems like too many
zeroes. Should be 6e9 rather than 6e12.

I checked and you are right. It is suppose to be 6,000,000,000 (6e9) In what over-populated world you live, Ben? 😉
