I think this is exactly what I was looking for. I realized it's also Monday and that I forgot that hardware meant that the signal was being used in hardware instead of replacing hardware. Sorry for the confusion. It's very obvious I'm new to all of this. I will definitely check out the other resources but I think you might have solved my issue.
