GUI input?

I am new to LabView and would like to know if it is possible to create a
plot and allow the user to click on it and select the start and stop points
to zoom in? Can they use a drag box to do the same thing?

Zoom Graph - Under "Fundamentals -> Graph and Chart Examples"

Smith Plot with Zooming - Under "Advanced -> Picture Control Examples"
