Frequency spectrum analyzer

Hello,

I want to make a fm frequency analyzer which can analyze a range of frequency and sort out the maximum energy frequency. I am already done with a signal receiver. How can I extend it so that it works in desired way.

Please suggest how to start.

There are several spectral analysis VIs and FFT VIs in LV. Have you tried any of those? If they did not do what you want, describe as specifically as possible why the result differed from what you expected.

Please post your code with some typical data saved as default along with an indication of what the maximum energy frequency should be for that data set.
