Force the While Loop to exit when Delay is executing

yes i assumed its far from the ideal thing (im still new to labview), although the stop vi is exactly what i need for my application - i need to stop it asap.

i also would like to know what is the easiest way to stop two while loops that run constantly one after another immediately without any delay.

Hi, I am doing something similar within an event-driven producer consumer structure. The attached has 2 while loops inside the consumer, one collecting data, the other is periodically updating a display of the time. It works, but I'm not sure if I am using the structure appropriately.  

How can this be improved?
