Fonts displaying differently on different computers

I am developing an application on my work PC with a specific font, one I have used a couple dozen times before without issue. Now however when I put my application on the target machine the font is showing up differently. I include the font with the source code because not all Windows PC's have them and have tried manually installing it several times. Just today I have upgraded to LabVIEW 2020 so maybe that has something to do with it?

Check your screen resolution settings.  Are you using any system fonts?  or system font sizes?

Windows created a setting that would enlarge fonts to make text more readable on high resolution or smaller size screens.  Perhaps that font scaling is what you are seeing.  Check the windows setting for font size between the two computers.

The screen sizes should be the same, 1920x1080. Fresh install of Windows so I doubt it's anything in the Windows settings, but I will check when I am back at work tomorrow.

Windows will get sneaky on ya and will change the magnification level.

Right click your desktop, then pick Display settings, and look for the "Scale and layout" dropdown. That should be at 100%, otherwise stuff gets wonky.

It's not just about resolution.  You also need to see what size Windows might be scaling your fonts to.
