Find does not search inside Ring

I have many LabVIEW 2017 vi's, ctl's, and lvproj files, and I would like to find all instances where a certain string such as "frog" is used in a file. I opened a ctl containing a Ring, and used Find to search for "frog", but there were no hits. Yet when I choose Edit Items on the Ring, I can see that "blue frog" is one of the items. Why didn't Find find it? If Find can't search inside a Ring, what other elements can't it search inside?

If you open the find dialog, there is a button "More Options...". In this "Text Search Options" dialog you can check "Hidden" in the "Search in Object's Data & Parts" category to find "frog".
