Failure "undo.cpp"

When trying to create a control by right clicking on a sub vi's connector
I get the following error and LabView crashes:
Failure: "undo.cpp", line 2904
any ideas?

I would probably get in touch with NI tech support. There is a site where you can check on internal errors on the NI web site:

I didn't find undo.cpp there. You can e-mail the Application Engineers at NI from:

Any *.cpp assert like this is caused by an internal error in LabVIEW. If you are using LabVIEW 6.0 make sure you have the latest patch installed:

ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/labview/updates/windows/6.0.2/

Several instances of this assert were corrected in the patch. If that doesn't do anything for you, then it might be related to a problem which was not fixed until 6.1 or which we have not discovered yet. Undo.cpp asserts are generally related to specific control types. It might help if we had a copy of the subVI whos connector you are using. We might be able to give you more information then.
