BridgeVIEW and LabVIEW DSC (LVDSC) are essentially the same thing. The difference is in the package. BridgeVIEW was a stand-alone package which you could install and use independently of LabVIEW. Was a completely different piece of software.

However, LVDSC is built on top of LabVIEw as an add-on module. You'll need LabVIEW to install and use LVDSC.

BridgeVIEW was turned into LVDSC after the release of its v2.1.1. And the current version of LVDSC is 6.1.

LabVIEW DSC is the new version of BridgeVIEW.
BridgeVIEW would correspond to the LabVIEW 5 Version.
LabVIEW DSC came out with LabVIEW 6.0.
The latest version of LabVIEW DSC is 6.1 which came out about a month ago with LabVIEW 6.1
