How do you want to track the global variables? Do you mean have a specific event fired when the variables change? Or maybe fire an event when the variable reaches a specific value?

If this is what you are asking you could always use the timeout event to check the variables everyonce and a while, or you could create a user event that you could program to fire at a specific time. For information on advanced event handling in LabVIEW 7.x look at this tutorial.

Additionally, in the example finder there are also examples of these issues. Search for dynamic events and user events.

Let me know some more specifics of what you want todo and I will be able to help you in more detail. Have a great day!

No. If you try to register for events using a reference to a global,
you will get error 1027: "Reference can not be reserved as requested
or is in improper reservation mode for requested operation."
