Error 20017 with CompactDaq and Labview

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi everyone,

I created a pretty simple VI for monitor and control of some pneumatics with  NI 9205, 9213, and 9264 modules in a cDaq 9178.  The chassis was used for a different VI with differnet modules in various slots.  Upon returning to this original VI and application, each DAQ Assistant is sending error 200170 when we hit run.  The error message and VI are attached.  We have verified that each channel is properly assigned and have tried deleting each module from NI MAX under devices and interfaces.  A quick fix here would be hugely appreciated!

Best,

Jack

Quick fix: don't use the DAQAssistent, but just plain (and easy) DAQmx functions! Define the DAQmx tasks in your VI…

Ha, I'm sorry that we're still using it Gerd.  A new hire is going to build out a more robust system for our CRio.  Also, we found our bug, so I'm closing this thread.
