Downconvert VI Requests

Hi,

I am using the labview 8.5 user. Earlier i was using the 7.2version labview. I have progamm with the 7.2 version. I want to up convert form labview 7.2 to 8.5 labview.

Could help to conversion.

Hi Prashant,

I already told you there is no LV7.2! And I also told you you can load LV7.1 VIs in LV8.5 without any problems.

And I surely mentioned you are using the wrong thread, this one is dedicated to "downconversion" - and there is also a thread for upconversion...

As Gerd has mentionned: 

1 - you're in the wrong thread

2 - you do not need to upconvert your code.  LV7.1 will open nicely in LV8.5

But I would like to add that you should avoid using all those Local Variables and all those Globals.

To learn more about LabVIEW, I suggest you try looking at some of these tutorials.

Please could I ask someone to convert the files from part 2 of Jeff Bohrer's nugget down to V8.5 or lower.

I'm hoping that someone can help me out. I've got a spectrometer that I need to run and the company sent me VI's from LabVIEW 10. I've got version 9 and need them down converted.

IMHO that library needs some "finishing" - I wouldn't deliver such VIs to customers...
