Does LabView Base Package support Modbus RTU ?

I have a small application where I need to take measurements from a NI-6009 DAQ and control a motor using Modbus RTU. I realize the download and installation of the Modbus library would be required. Does the Labview Base Package support the Modbus library?

It should.  LabVIEW Base supports "network communications" per this page, which is all that it should need.

There's 3 or 4 different MODBUS libraries out there, and some of them are closed (password protected) so it's hard to be totally sure they will work but the open ones definitely should.
