Dear,

In attachement an example of reading a hws file and generating.
You can also find this example when you go to help in labview --> find examples and then enter
hws as a search query.

I hope this helps you!

Dear,

I'm sorry to say but i made a mistake, the example i gave you previously will not work together with the hardware
you are using, i didn't tought of that before.

There is no standard example to show you what you need to do. But i will make an example that shows you the
priniciple asap. If for some reasone the example i gave you works, let me know, but i don't think it will.

Joris

Hi,

I found this post on the forum, where someone wants to do more or less the same thing as you.

http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=250&message.id=24909&requireLogin=False

All the information you need is included in that post. Take a look at it and let me know if you have
got sufficient information to solve your problem. If not, I can always help you some more.

Hi

It seems that you have just taken the wrong vi to open the hws file, you should use the NiHWS retrieve waveform vi.
Look at both pictures in attachment, they will explain what you did and how it should be done.

You should find the retrieve digital waveform vi, when you search in the function palette for retrieve.
If you can't find it with search, then the ni hsdio driver is not installed.

Go to http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/872/lang/en and download it there. Install and then you should find the correct
vi in your function palette.
