Snap and Grab at same time

Hi,

I am working with to screens on the front panel: The first shows the real-time video from my USB camera, with grab function. The second one is empty as long as I press the snap button, whereby this current Image from the other screen should appear in grayscale...

I have attached my small VI, but there occurs always the same mistake in the end! Maybe someone can help...

You are reusing the same buffer for both images so the original image is being modified when you enter the snap case.  You should create  a U8 buffer outside of the loop and wire it to the destination of the cast image.

I dont have vision on my laptop so most of your vi is missing but this is my best guess based on limited information.
