Demo for n-dimensional optimization ?

Does somebody has a demo/example for one of the n-dimensions
optimization vi which are available in Mathematics / Optimization :
Conjugate_Gradient_nD.vi
DownHill_Simplex_nD.vi

I want to fit a plane to a set of 2D data F(x,y), where x and y make a
regular mesh.
