This likely won't help. It isn't that you won't be able to see the code, because you will. I'd just bet that the source it shows isn't helpful. Recently if NI password protects a VI, it is just a call library node doing some call to a binary NI already made. I'm not saying that is what it is happening here, but NI has made an effort in previous years to only password up VIs if there is good reason to, like using an undocumented or deprecated function, or calling out to a binary that if done wrong could break things.
