Data Acquisition between NI 9263 and NI 9205

Single channel set up works, but multiple channel gives an error message.  How do I set up multiple channels to read/write voltages between the NI 9263 and NI 9205?

So, you are running analog input and output at the same time? How exactly have you set this up? A screenshot of the code will help. Also, what sort of error are you getting?

I happen to be working on the very same problem between the 9263 & 9205.  I have attached my VI for you to see how I've set up communication between the two using a single channel from each.

I would now like to send a Vout from the 9263_ao1 to the 9205_ai1 and read them both on the graphical output.

FYI: First Time NI User, I have read about type-C modules but haven't yet fully understood the timing issues I beleive are necessary to make this happen.  Your help is appreciated.

Brian11 and Braxtonlewis,

What error message are you getting when you tried to setup multiple channels?

Error Received after adding a second output channel from the 9263 to the VI attached above.

Measurements: Write cannot be performed, because the number of channels in the data does not match the number of channels in the task.

When writing, supply data for all channels in the task. Alternatively, modify the task to contain the same number of channels as the data written.

Number of Channels in Task: 2
Number of Channels in Data: 1

Task Name: _unnamedTask<3>

braxtonlewis,

Thanks for the information! However it doesn't seem that you're attached screenshots worked. Can you try to upload them again using a .png extension? Was there an error number associated with that message?

You could also attach the VI that is giving you this error as well.

Thanks!

Putting the channels in a list, for each module, has worked.  Thanks for your help.

Brian11,

Could you explain what you mean by "putting the channels in a list, for each module".  As I stated before I'm very new to LabVIEW.
