When using custom events and menu events, is there a way to disable a Menu item on a specific condition? For example File, Edit and About are the menu items, when user selects Start bttn on UI, Edit pull down menu to be disabled. On competion of loop, Edit to be enabled back. Any inputs?

There is a palette for manipulating menus under the Application Control palette.
