how to set sample rate and sample by fast and stabolity test

hi ,
     I build a test system of four UUT paralel test by Daq card 6220 ,scope and ac source......
     but now the test time is so long(80s).
     sample rate set 250000, sample  (large signal set 10000, small signal set 100000)
     my question:
     sample rate should be set to max? 
     test time =sample/sample rate ,it seems sample rate set to max will be decrease test time. do you think so?
     when I test small signal ,if sample set to 10000, the result are not stability,it must be set 100000, test time is 100000/250000=0.4s

     I always feel that sample rate need not to be set max ,but how to set to improve speed?

The Sample rate is not the reason of stability.

how many channels are you monitoring ?

How are you controling   the clock source ?

It would be helpful to upload some code  to understand the problem, or at least a screen dump1

hi all:

   sample rate do not effect stability(more than double UUT frequency),but sample effect stability.

    I use a simple vi that only one channel acquire signal, I use teststand to integrate the VI for 16 channel  and 4 UUT parallel test.
