Copying control attributes

Hi

I've got a VI set up where I'm transferring various attributes from one control to several others, using property nodes. Since the list of attributes is getting quite long, I wondered, is it possible to do the same thing using a reference or some other method instead? (I'm using LV7.1).

Appreciate any advice,

Thanks

Bruce

Is there a reason why you're trying to do this?

Kind regards,

Hi Bjorn

The VI is part of a prompt to allow details to be entered from upto 7 different units under test. For each unit, I have various controls for inputting information, on individual tab pages to separate everything out. Since the hardware in the units can vary, I wanted a way of modifying all relevant controls to highlight the fact that there are differences. At the moment, I use several master controls and transfer the attributes from those, but I just thought there must be a better, more efficient way of doing this.

Kind regards

Bruce

Hi pcardinale

Thanks for that. You couldn't send it again in LV 7.1? Unfortunately, I've not got Labview 9.

Kind regards
