I am trying to convert the labwindows driver found at the link above to labview (8.5) and I am trying to do this via the tools-->instrumentation--->Create VI interface to LabWindows/CVI instrument driver.
If I select "Basic" to do the conversion, I get an error message saying that it is not a valid .fp file or the file version is too low.
On the site it lables the driver as being from labwindows/CVI version 6.0, which has worked for conversions before.
If I select "Advanced" I notice that althought the .h file is present, the .sub file is NOT.
My trial version of CVI is expired, if I uninstall and reinstall will I be able to generate a .sub file?
Or is there another way to make this driver work?

I went and downloaded the Labwindows trial to another computer and generated the .prj .lib and .dll files, but the labview tool to make a driver still doesn't work. I get the same "not a valid .fp" error message.

Hello Lars
The following link will teach you exactly how to do it:

Yeah, I've gone to that link and I've done these conversions before. It still tells me "not a valid function panel" when I select the .fp file.

Hello Lars,
I saved the .fp file using CVI 2010 and now the error is gone when using the wizard. Attached you will find a fixed zip file.

Thank you so much for your help, did you see the same error as me before you saved it with CVI 2010?

Yes, before I saved it in CVI 2010 I got same error when using the wizard.
