Convert appearance of array of clusters to multicolumn listbox or viceversa

Solved!
Go to solution
Hi, all.

Attached you can see two different controls. On the left side, there is an array of clusters. On the right side, you can find a multicolumn listbox.

Is it possible to change the appearance of each one of them to be like the other one? I mean, is it possible to change the appearance of the multicolumn listbox to look like the array of clusters (with the same cell border width, cell appearance, etc.)?, or viceversa?

By the way, is it possible to add headers to every column in the array of clusters? I have written several headers, but they are separated from the array, just pasted text.

Thanks,
Francisco.

i actually did not get the point here...

If you ant to copy the content of the cluster to the table or vice versa, you can do it by some sort of logic...

If you want to replace the cluster with the table, you can do it (only the data will get lost)

Can you let me know what exactly are you trying do here so that some more help could be provided...

You can get alot closer anyway, if not all the way there.

On each field in the cluster you can r-click and replace with a Classic Simple version of the string, that one isn't indented and is similar to the listbox design. Play around and i'm sure you can get very close to that flat spreadsheet look.

You can probably use a classic version of the cluster also, but if you replace that it seems to clear out so you'll need to copy the field design to another one.

Hello Porras,

I think it is possible change the appearance of a cluster array to look like a table or a multicolumn list just customizing the control/indicator... but I'm pretty sure the opposite is not possible. My point is that it's not possible modify or edit the cell borders to create, for example, 3D borders, create free space between cells or change the style line.

Hi!

Well, the choices aren't very attractive, but I think it'll be enough.

It could be suggested as an improvement...

Thank you all!
