Hello Leye,

Attached VI explains how to build XY graph. It is very simple to do in LabVIEW.

I am not sure if I understood the filtering you are trying to explain. let me rephrase it.

Do you  want to replace all the data below 2.5 in both X and Y with zero? Do you want to apply a smooothing filter?

Thanks, Kalyan. The VI you sent me does it represent how to connect the XY graph accurately or is there something else I need to do. Also what is the function of the "Amplitude and level measurements VI" I was expecting this to be the "Build XY VI".Also
what is the function of the "cycle average". I ask all this because when I run the VI, I get error code 10014 occuring at AI config and the possible reason for that according to labiview is that "the group size is too large for the board" I do not even seem to understand the error code or message. What are possible remedies.

Please explain further.

Thanks,
Leye.

The code I sent you demonstrates how to connect two signals to display in XY format. You don't have to do anything regarding XY graph.

I am not sure why you sre using "Amplitude and level measurements VI". It was there in the code you sent to me. Do you get error even when you run your code with XY graph and other processing. It depends on what parameters you have set. Can you post the description of your error.

Thanks,

Kalyan

I am not sure either why the "Amplitude and measurement VI" is there, one of my colleagues must have included it. Could you please replace it with the Build XY VI and send it to me, or give me directions as to how to do it.. I expected to see the Build XY VI, so i was a little thrown off when i saw the "Ampitude and measurement VI". This may be why I am getting an error. Well the error code i am getting is 10014. I would say we first try to remove the Amplitude and measurement VI and replace it with the Build XY VI.  Then I will attempt to run it again. If I still get the same error, then I will make necessary adjustments. I should not once I change it to the Build XY VI.

Thanks,
Leye

Hi Leye,

I have deleted Amplitude Measurements express Vi from your main VI. I have added express Vi as per your request. I have also tested the VI with 5102 and it works great.

You might be getting error 10014 because of incorrect device number. Can you make sure that the device number on Front Panel of your Vi match with the number in MAX.

This is very simple.

Open MAX. Expand Devices & Interfaces. Expand Traditional DAQ devices. Look for number beside PCI-5102. It will give you device number. For example: Device 4.

Then enter 4 in the control device number of your fronr panel.

Good Luck on your project.

Thanks. You said you had deleted the amplitude VI and added the express VI, but i think you intended to attach it and did not. You gave me clues as to how to solve the error problem. thanks. But I cannot see the change you did, because you did not attach it. Thanks for going through the trouble of testing it to make sure it works. I really appreciate it. So please in your response please ensure that the VI is attached with the change, or give me the steps in detail to change it.

Thanks,

Leye.

For some reason, I am unable to open the VI you sent to me. Can you please check it again and re-attach it to me.

Thanks,

Leye.
