CompileFolderCore: error 8

Hello,

I'm getting the error message "CompileFolderCore: error 8" for several libraries (llb files) when doing a mass compile. Can't find any clues in LV Help or in the Knowledge Base.

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

Found the error code description:

LabVIEW:  File permission error. You do not have the correct permissions for the file.

The mass compile can't proceed on a read-only library.

Hi Homiachok,

Is your .llb file read only? The error is pretty specific that you cannot mass compile a read-only library.

Yes, Nick, that's what the problem was. Once I've made the library writable the message went away. So this was an easy one! :^)
