Cannot read UPS through USB

Okay so I went back and found some of the old code used to talk to that Tripp Lite UPS.  Again this was through the serial interface not as a HID.

Attached is some demo code that I'm not proud of but here it is.  It is just a serial request response message with some scaling based on the model of the UPS.
