Hi Rashme,

you already asked this in a different thread! And you got answers in that other thread!

But that is insert array which I asked earler; So Insert and Replace arrays works in same way; Now I understand that both work in the same way.

But what is the purpose of having two functions of same functionality?

They don't have the same functionality.  Insert Into Array adds elements to an array.  Replace Array Subset does not add any elements to the array, it overwrites data in the array.

You seem to be asking a lot of basic questions.  You claim you have been using LabVIEW for a while, but you really need to learn to experiment.  You could have figured this question out on your own within 5 minutes just by trying it.

Dear Crossrulz,

I dint take proper training; I use a few functions inorder to finish the project on time. My ultimate aim was only to finish the project. Also I dont have anyone to discuss here. At one extent I felt I am going in reverse direction in learning labview. So I started go throughing each and every functions. Discussing with people seems to be interesting than sitting alone and working out.

Anyways I will take your advice and work on it.

I can understand and appreciate this type of learning.  But the questions you are asking are so basic, that the included help should clear up when and how to use these functions.  If you do want to discuss when you might use one function over the other, ask away.  But try to come into the conversation with the basic knowledge of what the functions do, by reading the ... manual first.

I also understand the pressures of a project in a language you might have mastered.  But please take some of the free training if you get a chance. (at the bottom)
