Bronkhorst Sensors

Solved!
Go to solution

hey, I want to set/get data to Bronkhorst sensors, which are two flow meter/controller and one press meter/controller. it is possible via Modbus according to their datasheets, however I have no idea about how to implement it .like what is the name of registers and which kind of command I should send to the sensor?I did download the Modbus lib. from NI website, and already built the communication with another modbus device. so, is there anybody here has experiences with this Bronkhorst sensors? any suggestions or advices are very appreciated.

cheers

t is possible via Modbus according to their datasheets,

Do you have any manual/command set(for modbus) for these sensors or try getting them in their website for that model. which will give you a clear idea of how to get/set data to these sensors.  jus post them so that forum can look and answer to your queries.

Hello,

Coud you send me an email. Just add .nl after the user name.

I have a specification document for the MODBUS-RTU protocol for Bronkhorst products, I just don't want to post docs that are not on the website.

many thanks for replying

but now i have a silly question. on the meter/controller there's only a subD connector(9pin), but on the other end, there suppose to be a RJ45 connector. I never saw this kind of cable before~~ do I need to make one?

cheers!

No, those are standard cables. You can buy them from a lot of places, e.g. NI has them for sale (not the cheapest of options).

There often used with serial cards that have more than 2 ports.

http://www.massflow-online.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=17 is one of the hits when searching for "RJ45 to DB9" on Google.
