Beginner - Plot multi XY graph

I am working in a template to create a VI object.

The problem occurs when I try to do a dynamic input using some arrays that will come from another applications. How can I connect an XY data to get the multi plot XY graph work?

I attached a file to explain what I am trying to do.

Err... not to ask a dumb question, but are you sure you actually have a control *inside* the array in order to define the type? Based on the picture it looks like all you have on the front panel is an empty array control, so the wire has no data type.

How do I put this control to work? I think I didn't specify the array data type.

Simply drag a numeric control inside the array's frame on the front panel.

I would strongly recommend reading the User's Manual on LabVIEW and going through a tutorial.
