AI GND and live supply earth

Hi Labviewans,

i am using an M-series DAQ card PCI-6225 that has got 80 analog inputs. i am wondering if the AI GND is shorted to the earth on the DAQ card once installed on a PC. If so, this is not good as the earth can be very noisy electrically.

If your AC mains earth ground is electrically noisy, you should have a qualified electrician come out on site to diagnose wiring of your facility.
