What about this, just using a different font for a numeric indicator?

 

 

 

 I used the font attached below, 7seg. To install the font go to the Control Panel » Fonts, select from the menu bar File » Install New Font and browse to the 7seg.ttf file.

 

Just a suggestion 😄

If you want to go with the LEDs (why not, after all, it's a programming execrcise :D), a VI with 7 indicators, a case structure with 10 cases, and 20 diagram constants seems like a lot of (=too much!) code for such a simple task.

 

A simpler way would be to use a cluster of LEDs and a lookup table, e.g.as follows.

No doubt, such doodles help your familiarity with LabVIEW and improve your wiring skills. The program even works and does exactly want you want!!! 😄

Jim,

 

Thanks for the 7-seg true type font.  Loaded it up and works beautiful.  Put a bright magenta background and the contrast is excellent.
