Sluggish IDE Performance on Linux

I am seeing very sluggish behaviour from the IDE when editing the block diagram in non-trivial VIs in the LV2024Q3 second phase (Second phase of LabVIEW 2024 Q3 Beta Program - NI Community)

I have attached a video where I first try and draw a wire and it takes many hundreds of milliseconds to draw the "this is where the wire is going" dashed line. After that I try and nudge a wire along by briefly holding the right arrow key and it takes many seconds for the wire to slowly crawl to the right.

I don't have these issue with LabVIEW 2022Q3 on this system.

This is running on a laptop with the following
Intel Core i5-6200U (2.3GHz)
8GB Ram
Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS (Xubuntu Desktop)
OpenGL Render: Mesa Intel HD Graphics 520(SKL GT2)

Can you please let me know if you continue to see this issue with the released version of LabVIEW 2024 Q3?

I think it seems quite similar unfortunately - editing and navigating on a BD with many nodes is slow to respond.

I have attached a screen capture which I think demonstrates the BD navigation performance issue with 2022 for comparison.

I used the continuous logging application from the LabVIEW new-project wizard for testing and tried scrolling the mouse wheel up and down quickly.but in a way which I would expect would scroll quite smoothly.

LV2022Q3 on the left scrolls OK. 2024Q3 on the right is OK with mostly white space but very jerky/slow when scrolling past many nodes/structures.

There's a fix in the latest patch that I believe will address the sluggish IDE problem reported here (Bug 2771439).

If you see this issue in LabVIEW 2024 Q3 Patch 2 or later, please re-report it.

Thanks!
