PWM Control room temperature

Hi all im new to labview and arduino so bare with me. Im looking to use PWM to to establish a constant temperature. I am using a 500w element from a hairdryer along with a solid state relay (SSR) and a temperature sensor LM35. I am not using PID control i am just using set points to create a constant temperature. Any help greatly appreciated as i have searched them web and cannot find anything in the lines of what i am trying to do????

So you are doing an On/Off controller?  This is where you turn it on at say 68°F and turn it off at 72°F.  The temperature will then oscillate between 68°F and 72°F.  Other than that, I can't really tell from your post what you need help with.

How do i go about creating an on/off controller?? how do i get my temperature reading to oscillate the controller to turn on/off my heater??.... i am using an LED as an exemple of the heater i will be using. i am unsure if i am pulsing this LED this LED right because i cannot get it to turn of.. the last pulse stays high.?.. this is all knew to me so please bare with me for not making correct sense.

So basically i want to take in a reading (temperature) and pulse a controller on/of according to the paramenters set to keep that initial temperature constant eg. 70°F????

The On/Off controller is where you turn on the heater at 68°F and turn it off at 72°F.  The temperature would then oscillate around 70°F.
