My suggestion is don't use LIFA. The easiest way to i,implement a wall follower is to use Arduino code fund by searching with Google.

A good way to start is to run the Arduuino Analog Read Pin.vi that comes with Labview. Then next try out the LIFA digital input and output functions.

What do u think Linx ?

Yes LINX is preferable because LIFA is no longer actively supported by National Instruments,

Look at the examples that come with LINX. When you run the firmware wizard, you will get an option to run an example called "Blink", you should do that and you can look at the code. There are other examples in the example finder as well.
If you have further questions regarding LINX, you should post on the LabVIEW MakerHub forums.
