Bad Sync Packet Using UNO

Solved!
Go to solution

Greetings Fellow wizards.

Connecting with an arduino Uno for the first time, and I can't get past the INIT VI. Looking at highlighted execution I see that it is stuck here:

Capture.JPG

Bad Sync Packet where it sits. The tx/rx LEDs are Flashing when I attempt this, and not when I don't. The UNO is functional. I've tried examples provided, and they do the same thing. I can't find anything online that helps. I've also attached the VI I'm working with . Thank you everyone in advance!

Spoiler
I was hoping for some responses, But I think I found the solution: I have to install LIFA_Base.ino to the Arduino. My concern is that there has not been any updates for Arduino for some time, and I'm wondering if there is other more up-to-date vi's available for this application? I can't seem to find any.

Any advice?

LIFA hasn't been updated for several years because it was replaced by LINX a couple years ago.
