Any chance this will make it into NXG? Or at least implementing the current gen scroll tool functionality in NXG? Scroll wheel up/down and left/right isn't quite the same...
Unless otherwise stated, all code snippets and examples provided by me are "as is", and are free to use and modify without attribution.
I actually use that functionality enough in other programs that I often try to use it in LabVIEW until I remember it doesn't work.
It's not identical to the Pan tool (with which you click and drag the window). Instead it makes the window scroll in a direction relative to where the scroll-wheel button was clicked.
In case you've never used it and want to try it, I know that recent versions of both Microsoft Word and Google Chrome have it.
Clicking the scroll-wheel button toggles it, or click-and-hold the scroll-wheel button to have it turn off when released.
While it's active, just move your mouse a little to see it scroll. The scroll speed is proportional to the distance you move your mouse.
