I don't know if this is an idea or a just bug report but after complaining on the NI support since LV 7 without any result I'll try it here.
In the German localized version of LV the default case of a case structure is called "Voreinstellung" but in the context menu the user can read "Als Standard -Case verwenden" ("use as default case"). "Standard" ist the much better and shorter translation of "default". Currently the mixture of both is used - very confusing for beginners and annoying because "Voreinstellung" uses so much space. In opposite to the case structure the disable structure uses "Standard" in its header but also "Voreinstellung" in the context menu.
The simple idea is to change the translation consistently to "standard". By the way: LV 6.x used "Standard" all the time.
