Add field witch shows the size of the array.
So simple but so helpful
And expand the array to show at least a couple of elements...etc.
There are lots of very simple improvements that NI could do to the default probes, without anything but positive effects. I have a general suggestion for this in this idea.
Just use the conditional array probe. It has all these features already. 😉
Even though it's possible to use a conditional array probe, would be nice have it in as a default feature in the array probe.

It will be the default after the first time you use it! 😄
(However, I agree that the plain array probes are pretty useless. Do we even need them at all?)
Just noticed this is a duplicate of this: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Idea-Exchange/Show-array-dimensions-in-Probe-Watch-Window/idi-p/1646...

... which is itself a duplicate of this idea (which already has some nice discussions)
