Disable Maximize Button

Status: Declined
Turning off the maximize button globally would not be an option because some users need VIs maximized to ease of viewing.

I would like the maximize button removed from the FP & especially the BD.  I typically work with many VIs open at once and I find it very annoying to open a subVI that consumes my entire desktop with a lot of white space. This is true of the FP and the BD.

Lets be real - your code is not that important.  The one except might be the main GUI.

How should LV know if your VI is a SubVI or not and when?

99.99% of VIs are subVIs

There should be a way to Maximize the screen but it should be harder than it is currently.

If you don't like maximized windows, just don't klick on the maximize button. 😉

I wouldn't like to have to work without it. If I dont' maximize a window (which is 95% of the cases), this button doesn't hurt me. If I really want to maximize a window, I want to be able to do this with as few fuss as necessary.
