Control position display/setting

This should be an easy one - please add fields to view/set the position of a Front Panel control in its Properties dialog, next to the view/set fields for size. Add increment/decrement buttons for all four fields (width, height, top, left).

thanks,

Dan

This has already been suggested - http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Idea-Exchange/Add-Position-to-the-Properties-Dialog/idi-p/1254128

Thanks, it's on the right track. I stand by adding the increment/decrement buttons, which would make it a lot easier to do fine adjustments on size and position.

I'm quite surprised there's no way to explicitly set a control's position at this stage in LV's existence. Seems like a fundamental UI design feature. Add my vote for this feature. Not all of us don't give a damn about clean UI design.

Yes that's really a low hanging fruit I would say - and it's ripe too!

Especially when dealing with controls inside TAB control's where you want to align from one tab to the other, you would like the ability to copy the position from one control to the other.

Could look like this.

Maybe with increment and decrement buttons as others have suggested.

But really - LabVIEW is a graphical programming language acclaimed for its ease of creating GUI's, so it should be top notch on these basic features.
