out buffer copied in input buffer with Rs232

Hello,

i'm having trouble with serial port  and don't know what to think about

i 'm sending commands to a device (hmp231)  and when i'm reading the message on the input buffer i recover the command

that a thing i never met before , could it be an error of coding ? did anyone meet this trouble ?

i thought it could be a specificity of the device but when using hyperterminal i just recover the response with out the command  ...

Either your instrument has echo on, but then it should also be the case in hyperterminal or you have set hyperterminal to echo off.

Or you fill the buffer via a shiftregister yourself. Please send the vi you are using to check this.
