how to get updatdos.exe working under 2000 with service pack 3 ?

I have updated the device template using the control panel utility however for gpib-nt.com to work with aliases and use IBFIND it need updatdos.exe to set the aliases for dos suport. However this updatdos program is not working at all as it can not read the information from the registry.....(I have uncomented the line in the config.nt file in case you though that:) ) thanks for anyhelp you can give me. I have just realised how that doesn't sound like a question 🙂 Basicaly any ideas on how to get the updatdos.exe working or any other ideas on how to get IBFIND working in old dos apps? thanks.

Hi,

Try updating to the NI-488.2 2.0 driver version. I think there was a problem with updatdos.exe that was fixed with the new driver versions.
