Normally, you could not see or configure a non-NI board in MAX. Afterall, it's an NI confguration utility and you couldn't configure an NI board with an Agilent configuration utility. However, there is a way with an Agilent board. See some of the links I give at http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=140&message.id=18479#M18479
By the way, once you have the Agilent board recognized in MAX, you have to use the VISA functions in LabVIEW. You cannot use the lower level GPIB functions because they are for NI boards only.
