Using GPIB for data aquisition

We have a home-made potentiostat which we are currently controlling with a DAQ card and LabView. We also have software for a commercial potentiostat which is controlled via GPIB. I was wondering if there is some sort of adapter that would allow us to control our home made device with GPIB and the commercial software.

mya, While there probably isn't a simple adapter that would do the trick you do have a couple of options. If your home-made device has any PCI slots available then you could use a PCI-GPIB board. If not then you would likely have to use on of our ASICs to create a GPIB talker/listener device, possibly using NI-Device to create your driver.  Hope this helps! Craig H.
