TekVISA vs NIVISA

I’m using NI VISA Interactive Control v4.4 trying to talk to TekVISA LAN Server Control v3.3.8.2 but I don't seem to find the server. I can actually ping it and get a response. When using TekVISA OpenChoice Instrument Manager v3.3.1.55 I can connect to the VXI-11 server mentioned previously. Anyone seen this before?

Having TekVISA installed at the same time as NI-VISA has been known to cause some problems due to similar .dll locations. There is an application on the NI Community that has been written to allow you to toggle between the two installs. I think some of the issues you're seeing could be related to this.

See if toggling/uninstalling one of the versions helps resolve the problem.
