RS-232 S8 Serial Cable DB9 to RJ50: NI 182845

What is the pin mapping for NI's serial cable 182845 ? I can not find a diagram. I would like to know if it is the correct mapping before I buy it. Looking for info along the lines of:

RJ50 pin1 --> DB9 pin 6

RJ50 pin2 --> DB9 pin 3

..., etc

Thanks for the link! That is a handy chart, but it appears to only describe the pin assignments for each connector type (and how they map to each other). Does anyone know if the 182845 cable is wired as a direct mapping (like the above chart)? Or are the RXD and TXD swapped, etc?

It really just depends on the cable. If the 182845 is the part number, what are the connection types and what is the serial protocol?

I ended up buying the cable and measuring it myself. Here is the  NI 182845 pin mapping for those interested:

RJ50 pin 1 --> DB9 not connected

RJ50 pin 2 --> DB9 pin 9

RJ50 pin 3 --> DB9 pin 8

RJ50 pin 4 --> DB9 pin 7

RJ50 pin 5 --> DB9 pin 6

RJ50 pin 6 --> DB9 pin 5

RJ50 pin 7 --> DB9 pin 4

RJ50 pin 8 --> DB9 pin 3

RJ50 pin 9 --> DB9 pin 2

RJ50 pin 10 --> DB9 pin 1

 

Note that the Rx and Tx lines are not crossed, i.e. this is a straight through cable. You will need a crossover cable attached to the NI 182845 to communicate with most serial devices.
